RHTP Radar

Methodology

Trust in a tracker comes down to where the data comes from and how it's kept current. Here's exactly how we work.

Sources

Every opportunity we list is drawn from official, publicly posted state sources: the administering agency's Rural Health Transformation Program page, its grant or procurement portal, and the subrecipient organizations a state designates to run its RFAs. We link to that official source on every state page so you can verify anything yourself.

What counts as "open"

We only mark an opportunity open when its application deadline is in the future, or when the state explicitly states it accepts applications until funds are exhausted. A passed deadline is shown as closed, even if the source page still lists it. This is deliberate: it's the difference between a tracker you can trust and one that quietly shows dead links.

Planned opportunities

Many states announce initiatives before they open. We track those as planned and count them per state, because they're exactly what you want an alert for. When a planned opportunity opens, subscribers to that state hear from us.

Updates

We review state sources on a regular cadence and update opportunities, deadlines, and statuses as they change. Timing and coverage can vary by state, and states occasionally post, extend, or amend on short notice.

The official source is the system of record

We work to be accurate and current, but RHTP Radar is an independent service and is not affiliated with CMS, HHS, or any state agency. Always confirm the details, deadlines, and requirements against the official state source before you act. If you spot something we've gotten wrong, tell us at contact@rhtpradar.com and we'll correct it.
